Help support Evan heal, have rehab, &less stress

Hi, I’m Lindsey Pikul, Evan’s wife. On Friday evening Evan was doing some yard work while he was swarmed by a yellow jacket nest in the ground. He went into anaphylactic shock, his throat closed and his tongue and face swelled and then his heart stopped. I was performing cpr while the kids watched and we waited for the paramedics to arrive. We didn’t know if he was going to make it, he was placed on a ventilator in the icu for three days. He is a truck driver and right now he doesn’t remember my name, what year it is, who he is or how to do some basic tasks. He has to go to neurological rehab because of how long He had a lack of oxygen to his brain. I am currently medically retired from the military but he is the breadwinner in the family and he keeps saying, in moments of clarity, that he has to go back to work, but he can’t even see or read right now. He stressed, I’m stressed but I don’t want to show it and I don’t even know how much of the hospital and icu stay we will be responsible for, we also have three kids and the youngest doesn’t understand what happened to their daddy. I’m just trying to find a way to cover what he makes for a month so that he can have the time he needs to start a decent recovery and not stressed. This is not something I would typically do but we are in extraordinary circumstances and we just need a little help. Thank you so much
