Help support farmer Mick and his family

Hi, I'm Matilda Brown. I've known Mick Green and his beautiful family for most of my life. Mick has been the farm manager on my parent's property for close to 10 years and is not only a fantastic admirable human who cares for the land and animals but a wonderful father to his four kids and husband to his wife Deb. Unfortunately Mick was in a motorbike accident on the weekend of the 27th of November, and has incurred some serious injuries. Right now he is in ICU and lucky to be alive. He has a bruised heart, broken collarbone, 4 broken ribs, 4 broken vertebrae and a fracture to his neck. This will see him out of work and out of action for 6 months. During which he will spend a significant amount of time in hospital and subsequently in rehab and physio. Mick is not a reckless man, he loves riding his bike and is a very experienced rider, winning competitions and using it everyday to round up cattle and do his job. This was not an accident that happened at work so he will not receive workers comp and Deb will not only need to care for her four children but also help support Mick through his recovery. They will have very little money coming in which is why I have asked Deb if she would let me help her with some of the financial burden by creating this Go Fund Me page. Mick is a proud man and we could possibly be in his bad books when he realises we have done this without his permission but I'm willing to take that risk because he is the kind of guy who wouldn't hesitate to lend a hand or help someone in need. Mick needs our help. If you knew the man he is, you wouldn't hesitate throwing a few dollars his way, if you can. Donated funds will mostly go toward rehab and physio, and also help ease some of the day to day living expenses while Mick is out of work.
