Help Support & Fund Willenhall Elite Basketball Club

Hello Everyone, my name is Andre Wellington, i am currently 17 years old, and the founder of Willenhall Elite Basketball Club. This idea came to my mind when i was 15 - 16 years old, whilst still being student in school.

We started our first community session at Willenhall Memorial Park in 2022, with the help of Steven Maynard, who is Personal Trainer & former basketball player. Steven had lead the sessions with me participating in it.

As of now, i am in College studying a Level 3 Sports Coaching Course. I have had a lot of experience playing basketball and coaching at different primary & senior schools within the West Midlands.

I played for my college team for a Season (Sandwell College), but i have been playing basketball since i was 12 years old.

The main reason i want to raise funds is to start training sessions within an indoor facility, which will take place at Willenhall E-Act Academy to teach kids & develop their skills on a basketball, teach life skills and elite basketball players. This has been my passion for a long time, i absolutely love to coach sports and not just basketball, this project would alot to me, and i want to become something big in future, becoming a good role model to others.

The Funding will not only go towards hiring indoor facilities, it will give us the chance to buy the best equipment (Basketballs, Cones), and also it will provide our club members, merchandise & uniforms such as, shirts, shorts, tracksuits & jerseys.

As we get more popularity & support, we will be able to expand this club to its full potential for years to come.
