Help Support Gabe's Motorcycle Accident Recovery

Hello all! I hope this finds you well, and that you can take the time to read, and donate if you feel led to do so.

If you know Gabe- you know that he is a kind, genuine, and hard working young man. Working hard for the Local 597 Union, and enjoying young-adulthood. Sadly on May 8th, Gabe was involved in a horrible motorcycle accident that nearly cost him his life. Swerving to avoid a collision with a vehicle who was not yielding to traffic, he hit the curb and ended up hitting a light pole face first. In his accident he sustained multiple facial fractures, had to have his spleen removed, received a blood transfusion, and underwent facial reconstruction surgery. Following his accident Gabe was in and out of the hospital for a month receiving the medical treatment he desperately needed. The guilty party in the accident has the minimum insurance and nothing to cover the expenses this accident has created. Leaving Gabe to pay for this not only physically, but also financially.

Needing oral reconstruction, continuing visits with doctors to monitor his status, and just maintaining his progress- Gabe's medical treatments and bills are far from over. Gabe was in Local 597, but unfortunately the union insurance will be ending in July, again adding onto this situation for him. Those of you who have been in for a hospital visit, or have even had any medical work or check-ups done, know that those bills can be overwhelming. Now, Gabe and his family are not only having to navigate the emotional and physical repercussions of this accident, but the financial aspect of it as well.
