Help Gabrielle Recover and Keep Her Home

Hi friends and family. Hope you are well. I humbly write this as I am in a vulnerable state and really need help to keep our family's boat afloat. Please understand I really do not want to ask, but after many sleepless nights filled with stress to find a solution, I understand I need community support. I appreciate all of you for even taking the time to read this and send your good wishes.

Early Oct, the kids and I had a bad flu that caused them to miss school, and I was out of work for 2 weeks. Orions had turned to Pnemonia and this was an intense time for us. We finally got better from that. Then, quickly after, last week I found myself in the ER with extreme vertigo. I have been working 10-12 hr shifts as a delivery driver, pulling in extra hours to catch us up after the flu. The constant driving caused something to dislodge in my ear and caused major motion sickness. It was quite scary as I couldn't drive or walk confidently and felt the room spinning; I had blurring of vision, nausea, and was very disoriented. I then went to the ER. They diagnosed it as Vertigo. I have been advised to drive only small distances and take it easy as I am still having symptoms that require I rest. Also last year you all may know I was very ill for a couple months with Arthritis in my lower back and my leg from a hip replacement in 2004. I have sucessfully handled this with Yoga and nutrition. These past couple years have been a long, exhausting road back to health. Hence the importance for the much needed time off to reboot and heal.

I am currently applying for temporary disability and am in a very crucial time with all our family bills. I currently have a deadline of Nov 14th to pay our apartment company $5500 for Oct and Nov. I also have applied to rental assistance in my area but this will take longer then the 14th if even approved and have not heard back yet. I will update here if anything comes thru. By Dec, we should be set with temporary disability payments. I will also be making some life changes and transitioning professions. I will keep you posted on the changes. Also for those of you who know me to be in school I will have to take a break as my Fincial Aid did not come thru. I hope to be studying again in the Spring.

I am asking for donations to cover our current Nov rent, and bills until SDI kicks in and help with these very important life changes for our family and my health. I am truly needing a life raft here, truly and sincerely, Gabrielle.
