Helping Gareth Find Stable Ground

Hi everyone, my name is Gareth. For a many years, I battled alcoholism, a struggle that took control of my life. Thankfully, I've been sober for the past six plus years, but the road to recovery has been challenging.
But fueled by a desire for a fresh start, I took a leap of faith. I landed a dream job 400 miles away and excitedly moved, depleting my savings on relocation costs. Unfortunately, the company downsized due to overstaffing just 11 months later, and I was let go. This unexpected setback left me in a difficult financial situation, far from my previous support network.
Those of you who know about mental health struggles understand how debilitating depression and anxiety can be. These challenges, coupled with the rising cost of living in the UK, continue to make it difficult for me to get back on my feet. Due to a mental health episode, I required an ambulance at my residence. Unfortunately, this resulted in a disturbance with my neighbors, which my landlord is using as grounds for eviction, putting a roof over my head at serious risk. It feels unfair that something out of my control has such severe consequences.
Now, I'm facing eviction in court. At over 40, single with no dependents, and thankfully free from any reliance on alcohol or drugs, I'm in a difficult spot. I don't qualify for certain types of assistance, yet the rising cost of living makes finding stable housing nearly impossible. Despite my best efforts, I'm part of a growing population facing homelessness.
But I'm not giving up. In my free time, I find solace in writing. I'm a huge sci-fi geek (reading books, watching TV shows). These small joys keep me going.
That's why I'm humbly asking for your help. Contributing any amount towards my court fees would grant me some precious time to find a solution and avoid homelessness. Winning this court case would be a huge step towards getting back on my feet.
Thank you for your time and compassion. Even the smallest contribution can make a huge difference.
