Help Support George's Fight Against Brain Cancer
Donation protected
For those of you with siblings, much like my brother Lon and me, you surely recognize the deep connection that binds us together— a collection of shared memories, learned lessons, and unwavering support. Having a brother means possessing a lifelong ally, ready to traverse life's peaks and valleys alongside you. Today, as our family confronts one of its most difficult challenges yet, we humbly reach out for your assistance...
You may or may not have had the privilege of meeting our youngest brother, George; but those who have will attest to his infectious energy and genuine good nature that invariably light up the room. His warmth and boundless love for family make him such a unique and special addition to the Strickland crew. At the heart of his world are his two young boys, Richter and Codi. They see their dad as nothing short of a hero, and George's hope is to be there for every milestone, watching them grow and flourish.
A few years back, life presented George with a formidable obstacle: a severe neck injury that required him to wear a halo for months. He tackled that challenge with unwavering strength, emerging even more resilient. Now, just as he was navigating the challenges of a recent layoff and job search, George suffered an unexpected seizure that revealed a devastating diagnosis: Glioblastoma. For our spirited, ever-smiling youngest brother, this feels like an unimaginably harsh twist of fate.
George now faces an aggressive form of brain cancer, requiring chemotherapy and radiation, and with it, a mountain of medical expenses. The limited coverage of COBRA insurance and the absence of a life insurance policy only amplify these challenges. Our goal is to rally support to ease this heavy burden. From the depths of our hearts, we ask for your help, whether through a donation or by sharing a link to this page on whatever social media platform you use. Together, let's surround George with a circle of love and strength, reminding him that he's not alone in this fight.
