Our beloved friend, S. Ikbal Singh Ji (lovingly known as Pal Veerji), succumbed to COVID on Friday, January 15 after 2 weeks of illness. The doctors at JFK did their best to save him, but God had different plans for him. He left behind his wife Harcharan Kaur (Rani Bhenji) and 3 young kids.
All of us remember Pal Veerji as a devout father & a husband, a selfless social worker, the most helpful friend, and a caring and loving devotee in the Gurudwara, and most importantly, a humble, down-to-earth human being. Anytime, anyone needed any help, Pal Veerji would be the first one to help. He also served 100s of COVID patients during the last few months of his work at the JFK Hospital.
Veerji was the only bread-earner of the family, and the family has no source of income now. We, the friends of late Pal Veerji, are requesting everyone to contribute to this fund to help secure the kids’ future. We will ensure that 100% of the funds collected go towards the education & well-being of the kids. God Bless!!!
