Help Support Jake and Theo after losing their father.

My name is Micah Hopper and we are putting this fundraiser together to help Jake and Theo pay for their father's funeral.

Jake is a Junior in high school in Mountain Lake, MN and Theo is in college in Mankato, MN.

We as a community want to help in anyway possible to help relieve the financial burden in some way that these two boys have on their shoulders.

Jake found his father and had to make the difficult calls, not only to 911, but to his brother and mother as well and let them know that Mike had passed away.

This is a terrible burden on these boys to have to deal with paying for a funeral and deal with everything that comes with the sudden passing of a parent.

On May 29, 2024, Mike passed away suddenly at his home in Butterfield, Minnesota.

Michael “Mike” Theodore Evers was born on July 23, 1955, to the late Theodore J. and Madeline C. (Neidecker) Evers, in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota. Mike was the proud father of three sons, Jesse, Theo and Jake, and he loved taking in all their activities.

As a jack of all trades, Mike was handy and could learn new skills easily. He worked construction, farmed, drove the township road grader, and did some logging. He also enjoyed carpentry. Mike was an outdoor enthusiast who loved hunting and fishing, and he spent time at the racetrack in his younger years. He also loved watching sporting events of all kinds.

Mike was always there for his boys' sporting events and he couldn't have been prouder of them.
