Help Support Jennine in her Fight Against Cancer

Hi everyone,

For those of you who don't know me, I'm Jennine's older sister, Lauren. As you may know by now, Jennine received the devastating news on April 22nd that her cancer has returned. Based on her biopsy, it is the same cancer as before (Mucinous Adenocarcinoma) and her cancer has spread throughout her spine, abdominal lymph nodes and retroperitoneal space. Thankfully, it did not spread to her brain or major organs.

Jennine's cancer is stage 4 and terminal. It is incredibly rare and does not have a chance of going into remission. At this point, there is not a way to medically cure her cancer, meaning surgery and other alternatives are not an option. Instead, the doctors' main priorities are: 1) control the cancer to keep it from spreading and 2) control her pain/symptoms. In order to control the cancer, Jennine will need to remain on chemo indefinitely.

As you can imagine, all of this news was incredibly shocking and unbearable to hear for both Jennine and our entire family. In addition to this news about her health, Jennine is a mom to 4-year-old Noah and has major concerns about her inability to work during this time and the influx of medical bills they will soon begin receiving.

I am asking (actually, more like begging!) for every single person who knows Jennine to rally around her and help reduce her financial anxiety by providing for her tangibly. Any and all donations are so appreciated and will primarily be used for medical bills that aren't covered by insurance, childcare costs for Noah, and gas and parking costs at the hospital.
