Help Support Jordan McCoy’s Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Thirteen years ago, at just 19 years old, Jordan McCoy suffered a massive stroke that changed his life forever. With incredible determination, months of rehabilitation, and the unwavering support of family and friends, he made a miraculous recovery — relearning how to walk, talk, and live again. Since then, he has built a beautiful life, becoming a loving husband and proud father to two amazing children. Through it all, Jordan has remained a source of strength, positivity, and kindness to everyone he meets.
Tragically, on Sunday, March 16th, Jordan suffered another major stroke, this time accompanied by multiple seizures triggered by the trauma to his brain. He has since been transferred between three different hospitals, undergone a craniectomy (the surgical removal of part of the skull to relieve pressure), and is currently on a ventilator. He’s being treated with multiple medications to manage ongoing seizures and other complications.
His condition remains incredibly serious. His responsiveness fluctuates by the hour, but there have been glimmers of hope. By Wednesday, he was able to partially open one eye, and at times has shown signs of understanding and responding to simple commands. He is fighting — and if you know Jordan, you know he won’t stop.
Jordan has a long and difficult road ahead. Even in the best-case scenario, he will be out of work for months and will face significant medical expenses, including hospital bills, long-term care, and rehabilitation. His family is doing everything they can to stay strong, but they need support — and that’s why we’re asking for your help.
This GoFundMe will go directly toward easing the financial burden on Jordan and his family during this unimaginably difficult time. Any amount you can give will make a meaningful difference. And if you can’t donate, please consider sharing this page with others.
Thank you for lifting up a family who has always lifted up others.
