Help Support Jose's Recovery!

Hello, my name is Vanessa, and I am Jose's sister-in-law. Family and friends have reached out and asked how they can support. So, I am starting this fundraiser to help lessen the financial burden for Denise and Jose.

Jose is known for his hard working and go-getter attitude. Jose was super excited to be purchasing a trailer to add onto our property and rent it out. On the afternoon of January 6th, 2024, Denise & Jose's lives were turned upside down. He was standing outside our home helping a friend pull in the trailer when he was struck by a vehicle. Jose sustained life threatening injuries and had to be intubated and airlifted to the nearest hospital. Jose's suffers from a skull fracture, laceration down his head, fractured C-4 and other fractures on his spine. He is in the ICU fighting for his life and at the moment we are unsure of what lies ahead in his path to recovery as this type of injury is very serious. Yesterday Jose underwent a post spinal fusion and decompression which is very high-risk procedure. At the moment he is stable and doing okay. Please continue to keep Jose in your thoughts and prayers.
