Help Support Julie Through Stage 4 Breast Cancer

Hello, my name is Laura, and I am starting a fundraiser for my wonderful mother, Julie Wilder. She unfortunately has metastatic breast cancer. Specifically, she has Stage 4 triple negative invasive ductal carcinoma grade 3. She is unexpectedly out of work as she battles this journey and could use some help to get by. Her husband, Mark, is currently not working as he takes wonderful care of her. Her cancer is very aggressive and because of it, she has many clinic appointments. She has approximately 2 thoracentesis procedures each week to drain fluid around her lungs, wound care, and now Chemo. Of course, many specialty appointments with other areas such as palliative care, oncology, etc.

To know Julie is to love her. She is truly the kindest person with a huge caring and giving heart. We are all so devastated with this diagnosis, but of course, are here to support her every step of the way. With the unexpected time away from work for both my parents, they would be so grateful for any financial support. They are not the type of people to ask for help- ever! They usually are the ones to give the help.

I appreciate any and all assistance, calls, messages, thoughts, and prayers my mom and family has received. I am so thankful for all the wonderful people who love and care for my mom. She is so blessed to experience such an outpouring of love, and such a unique way people can show love to her. She is overwhelmed with all the sweet words and prayers. ❤️

It has been a very tough month for my mom. Things seem to be happening so fast. She has a wound that is spreading quite rapidly, fluid that accumulates quickly around her lungs, a large blood clot in her arm, COVID last week which suspended her 2nd dose of chemo, etc. Despite this, she is a great trooper with high spirits. We are here with her every step of the way.

9/15 update: THANK YOU to everyone who donated and shared!! My parents appreciate this so much and my mom feels all the love!! Be reassured that these funds will go to good use in caring for my mom!
