Help support Kaos in this Kaotic time

“Hi everyone,

As many of you know, Kaos was in a very bad car accident in Los Angeles while attending RuPaul’s DragCon LA. Kaos suffered multiple injuries. Due to the severity of their injuries, they were rushed to the trauma unit at the hospital.

Unfortunately, due to the trauma and shock of this accident, Kaos is facing an unexpected challenge, and I’m asking for your support to help them get back to doing what they love full time —performing for all of you.

As this traumatic accident happened in the United States and Kaos did not have insurance to cover the hospital and medical bills, they have received a bill for almost $80,000 after receiving the necessary care and treatment while still in LA.

While we are extremely grateful that everyone in the vehicle survived, it is devastating to announce that the accident claimed the life of a person in the other vehicle involved. We are sending our prayers and condolences to the affected family.

As a full-time drag queen, performing is not just Kaos’s passion but also their livelihood. Being unable to work and perform has taken a toll on their mental health, and the added stress of this unexpected expense has made it even harder. I am reaching out to the community for your support. As a very close friend and supporter of Kaos, I want to see them fully performing, back to what they are use to and love doing and I know you do too! The funds will go toward covering the medical bills they have incurred and any other necessary expenses during their healing process.

Kaos is currently working with a lawyer to determine what medical bills might be covered from the accident. However, this process could take several months to a year or more to resolve, which is why we could use your help now!
