Help support Kathy Martinez suffering from Bipolar

Donation protected

Kathy Martinez is the daughter of Dr. Victor J Martinez , a prominent Tampa heart surgeon who prior to his death in 2013 cared for generations of Tampans.
Kathy graduated from Academy of the Holy Names in 1977, USF and Law school. Kathy enjoyed a lucrative career as a lawyer before a series of both mental and physical setbacks derailed her career and life.
After experiencing dramatic shifts in mood, energy, activity levels and concentration a diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder was made in 2000.
While her career was put on hold Kathy never stopped caring for her now deceased parents. The last of her savings spent providing full time care for her mother who was diagnosed with debilitating Alzheimers.
Kathy desperately needs our help now. Penniless and facing eviction. We are trying to raise $50,000 to cover her basic living expenses for 2 years at which time she can hopefully transition to affordable housing ( waitlist currently 2-3 years ).
All monies raised will be held in a trust and will only be allocated for basic living expenses.
Thanks for any level of giving and your prayers for Kathy.
