Help Support Kecia Recovery

Hello Im Jenell ,

Im starting a go fund me page to support my mother through her recovery. Recently my mother had a stroke in her home, She was rushed to Saint Joseph Hospital She stayed there for one month alone, and was not allowed any visitors. My mother went through a second stroke at this hospital by the time they notice there was not anything anyone could do but thank God because it did not affect her like the first stroke did. My mother ended up on ventilator after her second stoke, during her stay in the hospital which cause her to not be able to speck for while. During her stay at this hospital we as the family was told everything was okay as we called for updates on her conditions day by day, Sadly this wasn't the best hospital for my mother to end up in. In the beginning they would answer the phone & give updates but as her stay period went along they began not calling to update us as a family to the point there was important information left out as well as being careless and leaving her bedside rail down, which cause her to fall out her bed. From that point she called and asked for us to move her to a better hospital so we changed her to Hackensack Hospital. Hackensack placed her in a rehab,Its not the best but it was help this is currently where she is and soon we will be moving her to a more intense center to get more therapy.

If you know my mother or have ever met her you know she has always done for everyone she as always stood on her own. She brought her first home with her sister and she has always worked to make sure my brother & I had anything we needed. I cant speck for everyone but i can vouch for my mother and she is an amazing woman the biggest hard and forever my number one supporter. I would do anything to have my mother back to her normal self, I know everything takes time so im here for anything & everything she needs. We as the family are doing the best we can to maintain all that she has as well as fixing her home so shes able to recover as best and fast as possible. This Page took longer than expected because my mother is not the type to ask for help but this is a new chapter in our lives that shows her and I that its okay to ask for help and support.
