Help Support Ken Harrelson’s Recovery

This fundraiser is to help support our Father, Ken Harrelson, through his recovery process after he suffered a severe Thalamic Hemorrhagic Stroke on March 4th, 2022. While we have much to be grateful for, the impact of this life-changing event will require many months of in-patient therapy for our Father to regain the use of his motor skills. We have watched our Father have good days and have bad days for the last several weeks. There are days when he is looking into our eyes when we're speaking to him and days when we have no response from him. He has endured several surgeries; most recently, he has had a tracheostomy, peg tube and a permanent shunt put into his brain to alleviate pressure after having two EVD's removed.

 

For those of you that know our Father personally, you know he's the life of the party, he almost always has a joke to tell, he is always looking forward to his next meal, and he loves and adores his grandchildren. Most importantly, though, he is incredibly loved by his family and friends, and we cannot imagine our Father not coming back to us just as he was before his stroke.

 

We are hoping with the support from the community, we can ease some of the financial burdens for our Family so that he will be able to focus on his recovery process. Thank you for your generous support, and please keep our Father in your prayers.
