Help support Khaleesi and her family.

Hi my name is Kirstin Jensen, Marie Cox, Kristi Brooks and I are all very close friends to Tammy and Angie, and my son is one of Khaleesi's best friends. We are helping start this fundraiser as so many in our wonderful small community are asking how they can help after this horrific accident and what they can do to help support the family. I started posting on Facebook this morning but will move my posting and updates to this GoFundMe page to make things easier to follow. For those of you who know Tammy and/or Angie and Khaleesi, you know what wonderful good humans they all are and who give anyone in their lives the best of them they can at all times. Angie grew up in Grangeville, and brought Tammy and Khaleesi here to be able to raise Khaleesi in a small, loving, and supportive community. For those of you who do not know this family, they are hard workers, wonderful community supporters, great parents, loving people, fantastic friends, and simply kind individuals. Khaleesi is a loving, friendly, energetic, always smiling, kind to her friends, little 8 year old and unfortunately now has a rough road ahead of her. This accident is truly awful and thankfully Khaleesi is a strong little girl and doing her best to fight against the odds.

I will post updates as often as I receive them, but I know this little family is in for a long haul of surgeries, appointments, travel, time off of work and school, and who knows what else for many years to come. I believe this platform will allow those of you who would like to help alleviate some of the financial stress off this family to do so. Thank you so much....Kirstin, Marie, & Colton

I am writing this on behalf of Angie Clovis and Tammy Barclay and sweet Khaleesi. They have asked me to let our community and friends know that Khaleesi was involved in a shooting last night at a friend's house. She was life flighted to Spokane's Sacred Heart Children's Hospital where she was intubated, given blood and pain medication, and remained stable throughout the night. The bullet traveled through her neck, hitting the carotid artery and is lodged in the cheek bone. She is currently in surgery.

They have asked to not be contacted at this time as they are attempting to focus all of their strength and energy onto Khaleesi. They sincerely appreciate the thoughts and prayers and that if anyone has any questions or thoughts to please send them through me or Kristi Soltman Brooks

Spoke with both Tammy and Angie and good news! That strong little girl made it through a very long surgery and is resting. The surgeons explained that she was extremely lucky that after the bullet clipped the carotid artery it went right by the jugular vein. However it did take out the majority of her upper permanent molars and shattered her jaw in quite a few places. They were able to remove the bullet and get her neck wound closed up successfully. Tomorrow after more scans she will most likely undergo another surgery with the cardiovascular surgeon to repair/strengthen the artery that was damaged. She is still intubated and being kept sedated so as not to move too much to further damage the artery. The hope is that after the surgery in the morning she will be able to have the intubation tube removed. The mama's are so thankful and relieved that she has done so well, but know they are not out of the woods so keep those heartfelt prayers coming! xoxo
