Help support Laura Ramos and family
Donation protected
As many of you already know, Laura Ramos was diagnosed with a brain tumor on October 4. She had surgery October 8 to remove the tumor and will begin radiation and chemotherapy in the next weeks.
At first, there was skepticism over accepting a GoFundMe to help them, however, there has been an outpouring of support of people asking how they can help or give. The reality is, even with medical insurance, bills are expected to top $20,000 and Laura won’t be able to work (for now at least), further deepening that financial burden.
The family has asked that you please not feel any obligation to give. They covet your prayers more than anything! They serve a God who wasn’t surprised by this diagnosis and will provide however he chooses. This campaign might just be one of those ways He chooses to use.
We will add updates to this page as Laura’s treatment progresses and we learn more. Thank you for giving, and more importantly, thank you for praying!
Laura’s cousins have also set up a campaign where you can purchase a long sleeve t-shirt, and all proceeds will go directly to Jorge, Laura, and Ian. If you are interested, the link is:

Also, a coworker of Laura's sister has set up an online fundraiser with all proceeds going to Laura and Jorge:

We have heard of other people interested in setting up similar campaigns and will try to update them all here in one place for ease as we get the details.
