Guess who started a travel service focused on Educational Field trips just before Covid? This Guy!!

I believe that educational adventures like field trips are an essential experience for children. During my time as a middle school teacher I took part in planning and attending field trips as much as possible. Once I left education I knew someday I wanted to start a travel service focused on field trips and quality learning experiences. 

In August of 2019 I started my business 3 Steps Travel!! My goal was to have a simple solution for planning overnight or out of state field trips in a way that was easier for teachers, cost effective for parents, and fun/educational for students. By keeping my fees low and providing support for teachers I hope to help as many schools as possible participate in once in a lifetime learning experiences

I am excited to say in our first year we were able to contract 3 field trips for the Spring of 2020. By the end of March 2020 all 3 trips were canceled due to Covid-19 and 3 Steps Travel lost over $15,000 in revenue.

Currently we are continuing to operate in the face of adversity. Many school systems have come out to claim they will not allow field trips this year. We hope to continue a minimal advertising effort over the next year and operate in preparation for field trips in the future.

I have 5 verbal commitments from associates in education that plan to book trips with us as soon as the restrictions are lifted.

With the funds we are requesting we will be able to operate for at least 5 years or more. Please consider helping us contribute to exceptional experiences for many years to come!!
