Help support LGBTQ bar in Shanghai, China!

Hello friends & family,
We at HUNT really need your love and support more than ever during this difficult time.
As you might have heard or seen on the news, Shanghai was on total and complete
lockdown for over 2 months. While the city started opening up on June 1, it's still a
precarious situation for us. For us in food & beverage, the lockdowns started in early
March and continue into the foreseeable future.
Since HUNT Shanghai launched in 2011, we've been operating colorful activities around
Shanghai and China. HUNT bar opened at the end of 2019, just a few months before
the pandemic hit. We have tried our best to keep it standing as one of Shanghai and
China’s most well-known and recognized bars serving diverse and colorful activities.
We've left our mark on Shanghai’s LGBTQ+ community; supporting local LGBTQ+
artists, supporting theatre community groups, providing free yoga and dance classes,
supporting drag kings and queens, having special muscle & bears nights, brunches and
dinners and rising funds to local organizations, providing a place for getting free HIV
tests, holding LGBTQ+ markets and even special event for the pets and many more.
Despite all the difficulties and limitations during these last couple of years, we were able
to stand on our feet and win the best LGBTQ Bar by That’s Shanghai Award. However,
the situation has gotten worse since early 2022.
Rent and other expenses have been adding up without any income or support, which
not only affects us but the many who are dependent on HUNT to make a living and safe
space to be themselves.
Please donate or share on social media, any little bit helps! Many local LGBTQ bars and
entities have shut down recently, please help us keep HUNT going for us all!
We love you and hope to see you soon!
