Help Support Lori Hunter with Medical and Funeral Expenses

We are heartbroken to share the news that Lee Hunter passed away on June 6, 2024. As we navigate this difficult time, we are reaching out for support to help Lee's wife, Lori, cover the extensive medical and funeral expenses.

At the beginning of 2024, Lee began to fall ill. After numerous visits to doctors and extensive testing, he was diagnosed with Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency, a rare genetic disorder. This condition had caused severe cirrhosis, leading to frequent hospital stays and treatments. Finding a specialist without a long waiting period was nearly impossible, and Lee's health rapidly declined.

Lee spent almost two weeks at University Hospitals Cleveland, undergoing extensive testing and treatment, and was finally listed as an A1 status for a liver transplant. Unfortunately, his body could no longer tolerate the damage caused by his failing liver. After exhausting all medical options, the difficult decision was made to remove Lee from life support. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones, after no more than 10 minutes.

Our family is devastated by this tragic loss. We are seeking to raise $5,000 to help Lori cover the medical and funeral expenses, as well as to assist with ongoing bills during this challenging period. All proceeds will go directly to Lori.
