Help Support Luis's Battle with Cancer

Hello friends, would you take the time to read about my friend Luis in Argentina and his struggle with cancer? I am appealing to the good nature of all my friends and family on here. I have a good friend in Argentina who I’ve been pen pals with for a while now. We got to be friends out of mutual love for the same kind of music. We originally were going to do a small trade of CDs and LPs, however, when I found out he is dealing with a very serious battle with cancer, I wanted to help cheer up a great friend.
He had to sell a lot of his things to pay for treatment and I wanted to send him some Pentagram merch with some messages from the band to cheer him up. I asked Greg Turley and Bobby Liebling of Pentagram if they would help during his difficult fight with cancer. Pentagram is one of his favorite bands of all time. Greg from Pentagram came through like a boss and sent a treasure chest of rare and one-of-a-kind items for Luis. Bobby wrote Luis a message and signed several items too. We all know what support and music can do in our lives. The guys in Pentagram stepped up to give a struggling fan in Argentina a real treat.
The box is heavy and I cannot easily afford to send this stuff to Argentina and pay for the shipping and Duty on the other end. I’m asking for about $200-$300 to mail this and to send Luis some funds to receive the package in Argentina (duty can be expensive). Any extra money will be for Luis and his daunting medical bills.
here is a message from Luis
“A little review about the Daniel post about me and my illness. I have a lung cancer on stage 3 of four. I was on rays, traditional chemo and finally, a terapy with inmunologic stuff. I'm 55 years old. When I told Daniel about my life expectations, I was based on medical opinions and facts about this new treatment to me. I was be trying with Nivolumab, and this reduced the size of the tumor getting slow the illness process. I'm on this since three years ago. So, in the honor of truth, I can live 6/7 years or more. Or less. The last week wasn't well. And I have several collateral effects. In Argentina, the new goverment cut the oncological medication and they are taking so much time to pay my pension. The pension was finally aprobed on October 2023. But they didn't paid me anything yet. I write this to give light over the beautiful post that Daniel did about me. I'm very happy to find his friendship and this is enough for me. I want to thank to everybody who read that, and I love what is Daniel try to do for cheer me up. God Bless him and Blessings to everybody who are fighting against an illness like me, and to their families. Best Wishes and Long Live Rock!. Greetings from Argentina!”
