Help support Luka's future after a tragic loss.

“On the evening of May 5th 2019, our beautiful, smart, kind, loving, and incredible sister Danielle passed away suddenly. We are all heartbroken by this and greatly appreciate your prayers.

The first question everyone asks is- what happened? As a family we have decided to share the following statement in an effort to honor Danielle and her memory.

Many of you knew she had some on-going life struggles. She was able to find strength for the last 2 years but unfortunately very recently she started struggling again. Many of you have helped and supported her in different ways over the years and for that we thank you. We have great comfort in the fact that she had a relationship with Jesus and had accepted Him as her Savior. We are confident that despite her struggles she is with Him now..at peace..and happy. She was truly loved and treasured by so many. We are going to miss her so much in this life but we look forward to see her one day again in heaven.

We are being very careful and intentional with how we approach this situation with Luka. And for that reason we ask that you do not share specific details about how she passed with him or your children that would interfere with his healing process. Luka has been and will continue to stay with Jamie and is surrounded with family and love. Please keep him in your prayers.” - Danielle’s Family

No child should ever have to experience the loss of their mother.. to live life without their biggest supporter, cheerleader and friend. I think that’s why God makes them so resilient, right? And they are. Kids have this amazing quality about them. They face tragedy head on, ask the hard questions, hear the hard answers, and then they continue on. Some with no support, and others like Luka, who have been blessed with a strong support system. I know Luka is going to be okay, I know he is going to grow up and conquer the world in the way his mom worked to. He is one of the sweetest, most empathetic, well-mannered 8 year olds around. He knows Jesus, he LOVES Jesus, and no matter what life throws his way, I am confident that that won’t change.

So, for those reading this now… what can you do? Well first, you can pray. You can hug your kids and tell them that you love them, because life is fleeting. You can pray for those struggling, and forgive those that have hurt you. And if you are here because it’s been placed on your heart to donate, thank you. Know that your contributions will 100% go towards Luka and giving him the best life possible. The last thing a family should have to worry about after the loss of their loved one, is money. If I could snap my fingers to make sure they had everything they needed right now, I would. Since that’s not possible, I’m putting my fingers to work in another way. Starting up this GoFundMe in hopes that we can raise enough money so that finances aren’t a concern. Any and all donations are welcomed and so so appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your prayers and generosity.
