Help Support Manuel (Melo) in His Battle Against Cancer

Dear friends & family,

We come to you today with heavy hearts, seeking your support for our beloved Melo, who is currently fighting a fierce battle against cancer.

In September of this year, Melo was diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma (Kidney Cancer), a diagnosis that turned his world—and ours—upside down. As you can imagine, receiving such news is never easy, and the emotional toll has been overwhelming for all of us. In the recent weeks the cancer has metastasis to his spine and other parts of the body which has now caused him to be unable to walk. Even in the face of these struggles, Melo has shown immense courage, strength, and determination to fight through each day.

Melo has always been the heart of our family. He is an amazing husband, father and grandfather. Whether it's through his selfless acts of kindness, big friendly personality, or amazing BBQ that everyone loves, he has touched the lives of so many. Now, it's our turn to be there for him.

The road ahead will not be easy. Treatment has already begun, and it’s taking a toll both physically and financially. The medical bills are pilling up. He is unable to work during this time. Unfortunately, the insurance does not want to help very much. With Melo having been the main provider for his family, the strain is becoming overwhelming. The treatments, medications, surgeries, and the everyday expenses of daily life are adding up quickly.

We are reaching out to ask for your help during this incredibly difficult time. Your generous donations will go directly to covering medical costs, treatments, surgery expenses, and other financial burdens that have been created by this battle. No contribution is too small, and every donation will make a difference in helping ease the burden on Melo and our family as we focus on healing.

We understand it is the holiday season, and many have their own bills and expenses.
