Help support Marcus’s family after a tragic loss

Hello! My name is Daisha Brown and I’m from Wilmington, Delaware. On January 1, 2025, I received the second worst phone call of my life. My only sibling, my brother Marcus Brown, was murdered (shot 5 times from behind) in Oakland, California. With Marcus being in California and our family being in Delaware, it is hard traveling and also trying to maintain our households.

Victims of Crime denied the funds to get my brother back home and to have a funeral service due to not having any evidence on what happened. Many people were there when the horrific crime occurred, but no one is speaking up. There is no police report at this time, and that’s what is needed! That means we will have to cover all funds to bring Marcus home and to have a funeral service.

We all know that after our mom passed, Marcus's mental health wasn’t as strong, but despite it all, he was the most genuine, loving, caring brother, friend, and father. Marcus has 11 children who are all deeply hurt along with my family and me. We are trying to come up with as much money as we can on our end, but we are just asking if anyone else is able to help out as well. No matter the amount, anything will help and would be very appreciated.

All donations will go toward bringing Marcus home and funeral service/cremation.
