We are reaching out on behalf of the Salhus family, who are facing an unimaginable challenge. Mark Salhus—a devoted husband to Lisa for 32 years, a loving father to Ryan (29) and Drew (25), a cherished son of Lionel and Elsie, and the youngest of the Salhus brothers (Steve, Dave, and Scott)—recently suffered a major medical emergency on February 5, 2025. At just 57 years old, Mark required immediate brain surgery and is currently in a medically induced coma in intensive care.

While the surgery appears to have been successful, the road ahead is uncertain. His recovery and rehabilitation will be long, and he will require constant care for the foreseeable future.

For 37 years, Mark dedicated himself to his career at UPS, serving as the primary provider for his family. Now, with the likelihood that he may not be able to return to work, the financial burden on Lisa and their sons is immense. They are facing not only emotional and physical challenges but also significant financial strain as they navigate his care and recovery.
