Mark Thorn's Fight Against Cancer - UPDATE

Hello family and friends. We wanted to give an update on Mark, who is still battling three types of cancer. Our entire family thanks all who have donated and sent words of support.

The following is a message from Mark:

First of all, I just wanted to say thank you to all the wonderful people who donated to my fund, I can’t convey enough how grateful I am. You don’t really understand until you have to go through something like this, how meaningful it is to have someone help like that. Thank you all again.

I’m currently still receiving chemo, but done with radiation therapy, thank god. I had some tough times last year, but am doing better. After finishing radiation I finally got my appetite back and gained 40 lbs back. I was able to have my stomach tube removed so I can eat normally again.

Next up, surgery on May 8th to have a kidney removed. Cross your fingers for me! After that, who knows.... but for now I’m doing better and am spending all my time with my favorite things in the world, my two kiddos, ages 5 and 1-1/2, and my wife of course. They wear me out because of my meds but they keep me going, I certainly have no time to dwell on things. Anyway, that sums it up in as few words as possible. Thank you all again from my family, we appreciate all the donations and words of support.
