Help Support Marys Lung Transplant Recovery

Mary is a beloved mother, sister, grandma, aunt, friend and teacher to so many wonderful students. She was planning to retire after the end of the school year in just 11 days when she got the call that she would be receiving the double lung transplant she had been waiting for. Mary was also in the process of looking for a new place to call home as her current rent would be too straining after retirement. On 4/26/20 Mary underwent an extensive procedure to have a double lung transplant and is currently in the ICU for recovery. She has a long recovery ahead and we would love to help ease her financial burden. Due to Covid-19 it is unsafe for Mary to go to a rehab facility for her recovery. She will require in home services of a nurse to properly ensure she receives the care needed. In addition to medical expenses we are hopeful to promote the possibility of Mary being able to stay in her current home where she is most comfortable, and can avoid the expense and stress related to moving during this difficult time.
