Help Support Matthew

Donation protected
On August 15, 2017, the day before Matthew's first day of 7th grade , was a life altering day for my 12 year old nephew, my sister, and our family as a whole. Matthew went from a typical 12 year old playing video games and spending time with his friends, to months of countless tests and biopsies and numerous lengthy hospital stays at Luries Children's Hospital in Chicago Illinois, with still no diagnosis. Matthew has faced more tests and battles in the last two months than most will in a lifetime. Through these lengthy tests and hospital stays, my sister has spent every waking moment with Matthew, never once leaving his side. This has taken a tremendous toll on my sister financially as she is unable to work at her full time job on a consistant basis, and unable to resume to her second job as well. Aside from Matthew, my sister also has a 15 year old daughter at home that is also struggling with these life altering changes. My sister is a single mom and is facing a battle no mother should have to with the unknown of what her child is facing. It has been two months, and though Matthew's doctors have been amazing, whatever he has is extremely rare and as the days pass Matthew continues to fight this unknown battle. Matthew is an extremely sick little boy and any help for my sister so she could find some relief would be beyond greatly appreciated. The medical bills have started to come through as well as every day living costs that need to be attended to due to the lack of full time work my sister is able to do in a given week. Donations as of now will go toward these medical bills and everyday expenses and may change depending on Matthews diagnosis and treatment. As we find out more on Matthew's diagnosis, I will be providing updates regularly. Thank you in advance for any donations and please pray for Matthew, as no child should have to face such a battle.
