I had the honor to grow up with Maureen and Melissa Gray.

 

When I heard the devastating news that Maureen's 19 year old daughter committed suicide on Halloween, I reacted like so many of us did. I was deeply saddened for my friend. I couldn't imagine the pain and I wanted to do something/anything for her.

 

Unfortunately in the midst of such a profound trauma, the people left behind are focusing on one breath at a time. They don't know what they need or what to ask for, especially if the people asking don't live close by.

 

We can support Maureen by helping to defray costs of putting Tristan to rest.

The cost of cremation alone is $1,500. Maureen also needs to travel to Colorado to collect her daughters remains. 

Maureen had been planning on moving, with Tristan, and she will still need to make that move alone. As many of you know, Maureen's partner passed on 4 years ago and Maureen no longer has much of a support system in California. 

 

This is what we can do. We can form a community of love around, Maureen and help ease the burden of paying for the costs associated with the loss of her daughter.
