Help Support Medina Dixon family after Loss

Receiving a diagnosis of cancer can be one of the most heartbreaking and traumatic experiences you will ever face. The subsequent battle for your life requires inner strength and the love and support from loved ones and friends to help you through the tough journey ahead.
Thankfully, when my aunt Medina Dixon was diagnosed with cancer in 2018, she was surrounded by the love of her family, which included her wife Yoyo and beautiful daughter, who lifted her up and cared for her when she was down.
Unfortunately, my aunt lost her battle with cancer and passed away on November 8th, 2021, after years of fighting what felt like a constant uphill battle. It was very difficult to watch her become so weak as she was once an amazing basketball player and a legend in her own right who always encouraged and strived to help everyone around her succeed.
It is difficult to put into words what she meant to us all and her passing will forever leave a hole in our lives. However, today I am here to seek your support to ensure her wife and daughter are financially stable following this tragedy as my aunt was unable to obtain life insurance due to illness.
This has been such an emotional time for all of us and I hate to see such a beautiful family trying to pick up the pieces after losing someone that was dear to their hearts, only to be set back by financial difficulties. They need help and it is my hope that with your generous donations, we can support them while they struggle to come to terms with their loss.
100% of your generosity will go directly towards Yoyo and their 16-year-old daughter and will allow them to focus on healing after such a long battle. Yoyo is a huge part of our family as she has always been there for my aunt, supporting her every step of the way through sickness and in health. Unfortunately, many of their years together were spent in sickness. But hopefully, through this campaign we can provide some stability in a very turbulent and traumatic time.
I cannot express enough how much your support means to our family. I know it will never bring my aunt back, but it is my hope that it will allow them to find some peace, relieve some worry, and allow them to focus on the good times they shared without fearing what the future may hold.
I thank you again for your support and ask that you also please share my campaign with your family, friends, and co-workers to help spread the word. Every donation helps no matter how big or how small and it is with your help that we will bring some light into a very dark time.
Thank you!
