Help Support Mike and Lisa

Mike & Lisa have had a dynamic, loving marriage for over 25 years. Growing up around the Brandstatter house meant being near a safe haven. Not only for their own but many others. They often referred to their children's friends as part of their own family offering a place to be cared for unconditionally.  Their generosity with their love, time and more often then not, applied not only to the young people in their life, but to each one of the friends and acquaintances they've made during their years together. Each holiday,  there were always several welcome additions to their table with extra place settings just in case another stopped in. Their family to this moment extends beyond blood and beyond locality.
Now... that their kids are grown with their own homes, sunny weekends meant being out and about on their Harley, checking in with friends and enjoying each other's company.  This past spring however, things have changed. On March 14, 2020, Mike & Lisa were cut off by another car while on their beloved bike, with severe results.  Each were quickly rushed to the hospital.  Based on the extent of their injuries,  we knew almost immediately this would not be an easy or short recovery.  After blood transfusions,  stitches, broken bones, surprises and many many surgeries, on going physical therapy and rehabilitation,  the process still isnt over. Lisa is home regaining her strength to be independent once more and Mike is still in rehab,  hopeful he will regain mobility in his legs.
The time has come for us to give back the love that they always offered and given without question.  While we know these two are strong and will prosper,  everyone needs some help sometimes. .. Bill's, mortgages,  medical costs, and necessary adjustments to their home still come and require forward motion, even if it's a struggle.. Mike and Lisa need our help carrying the weight right now.
