Help Support Mr. Howard – A Pillar of Our Community
Donation protected
For 17 years, Mr. Howard has been a beloved figure in our Rockville community, always bringing a smile and exceptional service at Safeway. From his early days at Twinbrook to his recent years at Rock Creek Village Shopping Center, Mr. Howard has been a constant source of joy and reliability.
I first met Mr. Howard when I was just 7 years old, selling Girl Scout cookies. Each year, he was a dependable supporter and friend, making every visit to Safeway a warm and welcoming experience.
Recently, Mr. Howard was unjustly terminated from Safeway under troubling circumstances. After a serious accident at work earlier this year, he faced an uphill battle with worker’s compensation and inadequate support from his employer. Despite his commitment to returning to work while still in pain from the fall, he was fired over a minor infraction—reading a newspaper—despite his long history of dedicated service.
The termination letter was cold and lacked any acknowledgment of his years of hard work and the challenges he faced. Mr. Howard is now struggling with the financial and emotional fallout from this situation.
We are raising funds to support Mr. Howard as he navigates this difficult time. The funds will help cover any legal fees, living expenses, and any other support he needs during this transition.
Please consider donating and sharing this campaign to help a cherished member of our community get back on his feet. Your support can make a significant difference in helping Mr. Howard find stability and justice.
Thank you for your generosity and kindness.
