Help Support Ms. Kathy Johnson

Our neighborhood bus driver, Ms. Kathy Johnson, was given an ultimatum a week ago to resign and keep your pension or be fired and lose it; but either way she would not qualify for unemployment. Why…because she stood up for her constitutional freedoms! When the neighborhood kids got the news that Ms. Kathy would not be their bus driver any longer they were devastated. Every single child was crying on the bus and as they were getting off; she was the kid’s favorite part of their day! Ms. Kathy has continued to be a part of HER kiddos lives as much as she can – she’s been at bus drop off the last 3 out of 4 days to give them the hugs they are now missing every day.

Ms. Kathy has been a single Mom since her children were little and a strong, faithful and courageous fighter!  But, she is now waking up with no job, no income, and no stability for paying rent/bills/groceries/etc. All these things are piling up as she waits for the “proper paperwork” to be filed and now forced to start utilizing her retirement long before she was ready to retire.

Ms. Kathy would never ask anyone for help, but I am because she is always worried and looking out for others especially the kiddos and now it’s time we give back to her.  If you can find it in your heart to help her out, please do so.  If you cannot give, then please lift her up in prayer – specifically that God would open a door for her, that she will continue to trust Him and be the salt and light that others are searching for.
