Locks of Love: The Big Chop for Charity!

Dear Family, Friends and Supporters,

I am excited to share that I am embarking on a heartfelt mission to make a difference in the lives of those in need. I have decided to cut off my hair for charity and donate the funds raised to support another meaningful cause that shares a very special mission close to my heart. Here’s how you can be part of this incredible journey:

Hair Donation

My hair will be donated to Wigs 4 Kids, a fantastic charity that creates wigs for individuals who have lost their hair due to medical conditions, such as cancer. These wigs provide more than just a new hairstyle—they offer hope, confidence, and a sense of normalcy during a challenging time. The date is still yet to be confirmed to chop it off in late October or early November.

• Why This Matters: Hair loss can be a distressing side effect of medical treatments. By donating my hair, I hope to help someone feel beautiful and confident again.

• How It Works: I will be cutting at least 40 cm of my hair, which will be sent to Ella Wigmakers to be turned into a wig for someone in need.

Fundraising Campaign

In addition to donating my hair, I am raising funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities Central West an organisation close to my heart. Ronald McDonald House Central West assists families with children undergoing treatment through Orange Health Services and Western NSW Local Health District, the house also supports mothers going through high risk or with premature babies requiring regular hospital care, as well as the families of Child and Adolescent Mental Health patients. This House provides families a home away from home when going through some of the most stressful times with families often coming from all across NSW
