Jill Zuniga Memorial

Hi everyone , My name is Christiana Zuniga, My mom, Jill Zuniga was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in October 2022. She was recently diagnosed with skin cancer (which traveled from the breast cancer) Its caused lots of pain and discomfort and no use to her left arm. Its been extremely rough for her. She has been struggling since she had to quit her job due to her diagnosis which caused her to be unable to pay rent and bills. She has no finances coming in and she should be focused on her health but has been more focused on finding a way to pay for those things which has caused lots of stress for her.

On August 3rd, My mom went into cardiac arrest due to her shortness of breath(caused by fluid in her lungs) and skin cancer tightness on her chest. Since then she has been relying on a breathing tube to help her breathe because she is unable to do that on her own. As of August 16th, the doctors and nurses are saying there is nothing more they can do for her because of her cancer and they have tried everything they can do to help treat anything otherwise, her condition will not improve but will only get worse. Which they are now saying i have to make the toughest decision of my life.I have not gave up, she is still fighting but she’s also very tired. Having to prepare for something like this is never easy and i am absolutely not prepared in anyway.

Eventually soon i will have to lay my mom to rest, and i can not even put into words how unreal this is for me and my family. 

My mom has passed on 8/17. Thank you for all the prayers and support you all have gave.
