Help Support Nancy Stoll in her Battle with ALS

Hello STMA Community, Friends and Family-

Our Dear friend, Nancy Stoll, has recently been diagnosed with ALS. ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. Nancy has been a part of the St. Michael-Albertville Community for over 20 years, raising both of her girls Stephanie and Nicole Westrum in the STMA schools. Nancy also worked in the school district as a Special Education teacher at Middle School West, but this last year she was a special education teacher for the WINGS program. This program teaches students life skills and fostering their independence. Nancy has and continues to be very involved in the STMA community.

A few fun things about Nancy, she loves traveling, going on walks with family and friends, hiking and camping. Nancy has made numerous trips to the boundary waters over the years and has been on a quest to travel to all the national parks in the US. So far Nancy has traveled to 31 National Parks, 1 in Mexico, and 7 in Canada. She also loves gardening, painting and crafts. She is always up for a cup of coffee or a good glass of wine. Nancy is also a proud new grandmother to her first grandson, Marek, Stephanie & Brody's 6 month old son.

In efforts to support her and her family in this extremely challenging time we hope to raise some money for the family to use for additional care needs in the future, acquiring a wheel chair accessable van, along with any additional medical expenses.
