Help support Naomi through her treatment
Donation protected
**additional** On behalf Naomi, Matt and myself I wanted say a huge thank you to everyone for their very kind donations! We have been blown away by your kindness during this very difficult time.
Naomi has now had her 12 hour major surgery and is doing well! She was in hospital for almost 2 weeks and is now recovering at home. She still has a long road ahead and is in a lot of pain but she is staying positive and is glad to no longer be in hospital.
Naomi's story has now also been featured in the Manchester Evening news:

Again, I would like to thank each and everyone one of you for being so generous and kind. Much love.
Beautiful Naomi has had a rough time over the past year. While looking into fertility issues she was diagnosed with two types of cancer, Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (PMP) (which is very rare) and Meningioma.
She recently had to attend The Christie hospital in Manchester to find out what the plan is. They want to do surgery and internal heated chemo treatment. They will remove her ovaries, gall bladder a fatty pad near the stomach, and part of the bowel that the appendix was attached to. Depending on what doctors see, parts of the liver and the spleen may also be removed.
However, before they do it, they want her to properly cover all fertility bases and do any preservation treatment at her local hospital (she is based in the West Midlands), because they won’t be able to do anything after her ovaries are removed and it will also make her have early menopause, which can cause it’s own issues.
Naomi has faced all these issues with bravery and positivity. In her own words "Please don’t worry too much and don’t make a massive fuss, because I’m still kicking and don’t want my life to become just about being ill. Thank you and love you all"
I am sure you can agree this a lot for her and her new husband Matt to be going through. To add to this, Naomi will be required to have at least 3 months off to recover from the major operation. The DWP have decided that she will not be eligible for any sort of monetary help. Naomi and Matt are obviously very distressed that she is going through all these medical issues and now they are panicking that they will not be able to cover their bills and travel expenses between the West Midlands and Manchester on a regular basis.
Naomi and Matt are a wonderful couple who mean a lot to a lot of people. If you would like to help ease their minds in regards to money during this very tough time then any help is very gratefully received. Any funds raised will go straight to Naomi and Matt to help with travel expenses and any bills during Naomi's recovery.
