Help Fund Cumberland's Outdoor Climbing Boulder
Donation protected
On behalf of the Cumberland Boulder Project...
Financial support is needed to help install a new outdoor artificial climbing boulder in Cumberland.
Installation of a large new outdoor Climbing Boulder in Number 6 Mine Park has been approved by the Cumberland Village Council; however because this is a community led initiative, 100% of the cost will need to be sourced through fundraising.
This climbing boulder will be a wonderful addition to our community, allowing for an easy and equipment-free way of climbing for kids and adults of all ages at no cost.
Benefits of the Climbing Boulder in the park
- Encourages physical activity
- Fosters Creativity
- Helps connect with nature
- Creates a new community hub
- Can be used by Cumberland Rec and after school programs
- Guarantees smiles for users over decades.
All these benefits align with Cumberland’s spirit and values for our thriving community.
All donations will be managed by the Rotary Club of Cumberland and go directly to the
construction of the boulder, transportation, installation, & construction of the safety considerations around the boulder.
To acknowledge the contribution and support of any major donor who contributes over $5,000, their name will be listed on a plaque next to the installed climbing boulder.
