Help support Nicole Popelka (Lindenberg) & family

On November 22nd, while traveling in Boise, ID for work, Nicole experienced a hemorrhagic stroke. She was rushed to the hospital and placed in the ICU. She has made a lot of progress in the last few days, but she still has a long road to recovery ahead of her. The doctors expect her to remain in the ICU for at least a week and in the hospital for at least a month. After she is released from the hospital, she will also need additional rehabilitation. Her husband Josiah flew to Boise and has been by her side every step of the way.

We are so grateful that Nicole is in good hands in Boise and has the medical care she needs, but being that far from home adds additional expenses for their family. There will no doubt be extensive medical expenses to cover on her road to recovery. Josiah is staying in Boise with Nicole and during this time is unable to work in order to give her the support she needs. In addition, there are travel, meal expenses and regular expenses while being away. Our goal is to help ease as much financial stress as possible so Nicole can focus on a full recovery.

I know I speak for all of Nicole’s family and friends when I say she is genuinely one of the best people I know. She is kind, hilarious, smart and beautiful inside and out. She is incredibly special to her entire family. We are absolutely devastated that she has had to experience this, but we want to do everything in our power to help her and her family.
