Help support our DE girls in getting to DWC 2023

Lily Gow, 13, Daisy Robertson, 9, Zoe Kirkpatrick-Brown, 9, Rae Hamill, 8, and Ella Fleming, 7, from Cambuslang, all attend Dance Elite Studio and have just this week received the news that they have all qualified and secured their places to represent Team Scotland at the prestigious Dance World Cup 2023 in Portugal.

The five qualifying dancers will perform a variety of styles including lyrical, jazz contemporary, hip hop/commercial and acro following their successful video auditions last month.

The Dance World Cup is the most prestigious competition in the dance calendar and only the best dancers from around the world are chosen to compete. The competition features dancers from sixty-two countries with 120,000 competitors in this nine day long competition in Braga, Portugal in July 2023.

The 'Team Scotland Mums' and coaches have all got together to plan out their fundraising efforts to support the girls financially with the costs of travel, accommodation, entry fees, tracksuits and other essentials.
