Help support our family member, Francis Mackay

Dear family, friends, and community,

We have decided to start this GoFundMe on behalf of Francis Mackay. As some of you may already know, Francis is in it for the fight of his life.

He is the devoted husband of Catherine Zang, and the proud and loving father of baby Theodore Mackay.

At only 34 years old, Francis was diagnosed with soft tissue Sarcoma under the armpit. We were relieved to hear that the cancer was localized and that after radiation and surgery to remove the tumour, he would be able to put this scare behind him.

Things quickly took a turn for the worse when we least expected it. Within a matter of weeks, the cancer affected his lymph nodes, metastasized to both lungs, and Francis is now faced with the devastating diagnosis of stage 4 cancer.

We are all praying for Francis to pull through. Theodore, who isn't even 2, deserves to be raised by his two loving parents.

The next step for Francis is chemotherapy, while he is also still healing from his major surgery. Both himself and his wife have their world turned upside down with endless appointments.

As they focus on Francis’ health, they are unable to work. However, life goes on, and responsibilities pile on.

If your heart desires and you are financially able to help this young couple, our family would be ever so grateful. We are counting on your support to keep their heads afloat. The goal is for them to simply focus on treatments, without worrying about financial responsibilities.
