Keith R.J. Moffitt 1965-2021

Cathy, Cindy and Bruce Moffitt have recently suffered the unexpected and tragic death of their youngest sibling, Keith. Keith was born in Toronto in 1965 and has lived for over 30 years in Houston, Texas where he worked as a well-respected nurse in the emergency, ICU and psychiatric departments of Methodist, Ben Taub and most recently West Oaks hospital throughout the COVID pandemic.

At 6'1" , Keith was known to many as a red-headed gentle giant with a most generous and kind heart.

Keith lived alone and was found unresponsive by one of his many caring friends who had stopped by for a visit after work on Friday November 19th. Keith’s funeral and financial arrangements are being organized by Cathy, and Cindy. There have been complications surrounding Keith’s death because he is in Texas where there are no other relatives and there is the financial burden of travel, lawyers and other costs associated with a cross border funeral.

We are reaching out to friends and family to ask for any assistance that they can provide. Thank you in advance for any help that you can give, big or small, as it is greatly appreciated. If any funds remain after costs, they will be divided equally and donated to a mental health association in both Houston and Toronto.
