Help Support Our Mission to Guatemala

Dear friends and family or whoever may be guided to this,

From July 29th - August 7th, God has blessed me with the opportunity to go on the Guatemala Mission Trip. Besides an 8-day mission trip to PA when I was 13, this will be my first out-of-the-country mission trip, and I am so looking forward to it. Even better, I get to go with a handful of my closest friends. I have heard how the ministry of the Kitchen of Love, led by my Pastor Jose Alvarez, has changed lives and will continue to. God has called me to this mission, and He has called all followers to be vessels of light to let His light shine to others.

While God has opened a door for me to develop a greater heart of compassion for His people around the world, the exciting part is that you will be able to share in this compassion in several ways. First and most importantly, if you can't help financially, the best way to help is to pray for my friends and me, and everyone else going on this trip. We need prayers that God will prepare us for our visit and bless our efforts as we minister to the people of Guatemala. We also need prayers that our financial needs will be met. We need to raise $2,700 each to attend this trip, which is quite a challenge, but we are trusting God will provide. We need to raise all of the funds by July to be able to go on the trip. The first 2,000 of this fund will go towards my trip but any excess will be spread amongst the other 5 women accompanying me on this trip.  Whether you feel led to contribute financially or solely through prayer, I appreciate all of your support so much!

I can't wait to be the hands and feet of Jesus with my friends and serve in Guatemala. I am looking forward to letting you know all about the miracles God has done through the team when I return in August.
