Hello family and friends, On June 12th, 2023, Salome Billedo took her last breath in serenity with her family by her side.

Dear family and friends,

As some of you may or may not know our mom, Sally Billedo was hospitalized on May 3, 2023. Within a week, she was diagnosed with stage 4 Anaplastic Thyroid Carcinoma, an extremely rare and aggressive form of cancer. After 4 rounds of radiation and a week of immunotherapy, the spread of the cancer was greater than the time it would take for the radiation and immunotherapy to work.

Not knowing how much time she has left, and with her body unable to endure more radiation and immunotherapy, our mom made the decision to stop treatment and spend her last days at home with family, allowing loved ones to visit and surround her with love. On June 7th, her care switched from palliative care to hospice care.

After discussing with our mom what her final wishes are, she has made it known that after she takes her last breath, she wants her body to be brought home and buried next to her mom in the Philippines. We want to do everything we can to fulfill her wishes.
