Help support our parents after a devastating scam

Hi, our names are Ryan, Ray, and Veronika and we’ve been lucky enough to be raised by two wonderful, loving parents named Henry and Mary Braun.

They made a life for us as kids immigrating to Canada in 1984 in order create a better future for us as a family. Working two blue collar jobs with a minimal education, getting to retirement was an uphill battle, but they did it.

Heartbreakingly from September 6, 2024 to September 17, 2024 they were scammed into losing 35% of their savings, putting everything they’ve worked for over the past 40 years in jeopardy. It has been beyond painful to see the burden this has placed over two people that have always placed others over themselves. The emotional and financial toll has been devastating, the stress almost insurmountable.

Help us to help them. We want to see them overcome this hardship and we hope and pray that we can. Our goal is to recover some of the money lost in order for them to get back on their feet and enjoy life the way they hoped and dreamed they could when they immigrated here. Anything over and beyond the goal that we have set will be donated.
