Over the past holiday season, my dearest friend, Ryan Hurley, discovered that an artery in his heart is collapsing. After months of putting together every spare penny we could get, we are far off from our goal of helping him pay for his medical bills to cover for his heart surgery, medications, follow up appointments and helping him to make it through weeks of medical leave from work. At 28 years young, Ryan has insurance but it only covers preventative care, so close to all of these expenses will have to come out of pocket.
Ryan has spent years in this community doing school plays and musicals, he's even directed some of the community theater's performances. With a voice that would make even the strongest of men go weak in the knees, and a contagiously loving personality that instantly makes you smile on your hardest days. This friend of mine has put everyone else above himself for so long, not hesitating to give the shirt off his back or the last penny in his pocket. Everything he does comes straight from his heart and now, he needs to fix it. So I ask for your help, even if you can't afford to donate, please spread the word! Every penny counts!
