As you may or may not know, our world changed on October 14th, 2023 when Patti was suddenly diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. So far we have been battling this disease - being in the hospital for 67 days, through multiple rounds of chemo, and other complications and finally making it home for Christmas!

The only shot at a cure is a stem cell transplant, and to do that you need to have a matched donor. We have been very blessed that a stem cell donor has been found for her! She goes into NYC on Valentine's Day for some aggressive chemotherapy and then a stem cell transplant right after. And then some more work begins. We anticipate being in the hospital for 4-6 weeks.

Our health insurance is paying for many of the expenses, but there are things that they do not cover, and there will be unforeseen expenses that will come up. All donations will be going to medical expenses.
