Help support Pawsitive Partners Prison Dog Training Programs
Donation protected
Hello. My name is Tracey Hagan, and I am a professional dog trainer. I currently run 4 prison dog training programs. We have 3 federal programs and 1 state program currently. These programs help so many people. We use rescue dogs to teach the participants in each program how to train dogs using positive reinforcement training. Once the dogs have learned basic concepts and cues, we are able to find them their forever home. We volunteer to travel to and provide the training they need to be able to train the dogs properly. Currently, we are having to supply everything for each program that they need to run it. This includes the dogs plus everything you would typically need to buy for your own personal dog: food and water bowls, crates, chews, grooming supplies (we also teach them how to learn to do grooming), treats, clickers, treat bags, books, poop bags, body harnesses, leashes, etc.
We love doing these programs, and we are starting to look into other fundraisers to help us buy the supplies they need along the way. I partner with a 501(c)3, but sometimes they do not have enough to run so many programs. We do not want to have to shut down any of these programs as they have helped so many.
We call our program Pawsitive Partners because we feel we "partner" with the dogs, the participants in the program, the staff, and the people who eventually get one of the dogs from the program.
Any amount you can give would be great. If you are one of those people that have the means to donate more, please do.
I am linking my website here so you can go read about the program. We also have a Facebook page that I will link here. (It is still in the early phases, and we hope to get it rolling soon.)
If you have any questions, please contact me through my website's contact us page.
Thank you in advance.
